It has set a precedent for the rest of the public areas in order to have the continuity of design throughout the building as well as to facilitate the maintenance programs. Phase 2 consists of approximately 25% of the West Building. This purchase will cover the remaining areas of the West Building.
By combining the requirements of the carpet and ordering the larger quantities, the cost per square yard was reduced to $30.30 which is lower than the $32.90 per square yard cost for the Westwood Lobby and Valencia Room.
