Suntrust Center submitted a Major Certificate of Appearance Approval for a 42 sq. ft. Monument Sign in the SunTrust Plaza. The new monument sign will be located in the gravel area north of the plaza lawn.
They will manufacture and install a single faced monument sign with polished aluminum reverse illuminated letter for Suntrust Center. Tenant panels will be tempered green glass with shite vinyl copy. Tenant panels will be illuminated by LED uplighting concealed in the base of the sign. The base will be made of marble and will match the marble in the sur- rounding buildings and other existing signage.
The base of the sign shall be setback a minimum of 5-feet from the edge of the S. Orange Avenue sidewalk. ARB Staff shall field verify the location of the sign prior to installation
ARB Staff is recommending approval of the placement, appearance and materials of the monument sign with the following conditions:
The existing monument signs just north of the plaza are shall be removed prior to installation of the new monument sign.
