ABOUT:
TheDailyCity.com's 4th Annual Cardboard Art Festival 2016 is back for a fourth year of cardboard craziness! The festival runs on select dates July 22- July 31, 2016.
For the first time in our history, we'll be taking over TWO storefronts in the SODO shopping center to provide a larger gallery space for our fun kids activities, grown up parties and quiet daytime gallery hours.
This festival costs $3,000+ total to put on and TheDailyCity.com provides 100% of the funding. It was created in 2012 by Mark Baratelli. Our partnered production company is Pink Hair Productions featuring the dynamic duo of Denna Beena and Linda Comstock- Jansen.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS!!!
Friday 7/
- 7pm - 10pm Opening Night Party Join us for music, amazing art with Cardboard Artists in attendace and cash bar by Hammered Lamb! $5 admission
Saturday 7/
- 12pm-4pm Junior Gallery open hours Browse and play with your kids and see what's possible to make from simple old cardboard. Admission $5 adults, $1 Kids.
- 1pm-3pm 1pm-3pm Kids Building Camp! Free with paid admission! Age range: any age up to adults. ArtReach Orlando staff guide builders to create awesome cardboard creations! Kids can bring their own supplies or use ours. All creativity levels and building expertise levels welcome!
- 12pm-5pm Gallery open hours for browsing. $5 admission. 12 and under $1 admission.
- 5pm-7pm CLOSED
- 7pm- 10pm Gallery open hours $5 admission.
- Noon - 3pm Junior Gallery open hours Browse and play with your kids and see what's possible to make from simple old cardboard. Admission $5 adults, $1 Kids.
- Noon - 5pm Gallery Open For Browsing Admission: $5 Adults $1 Kids.
Thursday 7/
- 9am- 11:30am Crayon Drawing Time! This is geared for kids 6 and under but all ages are more than welcome! Kids will be provided crayons and will work together on a group piece to be include in our large mural wall. Guided tours (with parents and kids together) will be given in both galleries. Admission $5 adults, $1 Kids.
- 6pm-9pm Community Construction Night 100% of the admission ($5 adults) goes to the OneOrlando Fund. We're creating a large piece to be installed at a select tribute location and we need the community's help with creating their own cardboard heart. Also we are celebrating the life of a local-lover Colleen from YELP who passed away at the Grand Canyon just last week. Guests will take a star and decorate it.
Friday 7/
- 7pm-10pm Gallery Open For Browsing Going to dinner or a date that night? Roll by here beforehand and take a quick walk-thru. Admission: $5 Adults $1 Kids. Free parking.
- 7:45 Improv Performance by SAK Comedy Lab! Free with admission!

- 1pm-3pm Kids Building Camp! Free with paid admission! Age range: any age up to adults. Orlando Fringe staff and volunteers watches over kids as they create whatever they want. Kids can bring their own supplies or use ours. All creativity levels and building expertise levels welcome! Admission $5 adults, $1 Kids. Admission and donations collected go to Kids Fringe.
