Garden District Growers’ Market September 10th

Join the Florida Local Food Summit activities with the inaugural Garden District Growers’ Market Saturday September 10th 2016 9am-3pm in Orlando, Florida.

Sponsored by the Florida Local Food Summit, Gather And, Local Roots, and the Audubon Park Garden District, the market is intended to help local gardeners and growers start their fall crops. It also aims to help locals learn to make the most of their harvest, with workshops on cooking, preserving, fermenting and more. Vendors may include growers with seeds, starter plants, compost, gardening tools, canning & preserving tools, and other related items.

Visitors to the Growers’ Market will delight in discovering local farmers, growers and producers who are passionate about organic, small scale food production. September 10, 2016 enjoy a variety of free workshops and classes, in addition to an outdoor market, district wide.
