Chris Castro to Big Buildings: Show Us Your Data

Chris Castro, the City's Director of Sustainability, saver of a woman's life at Playalinda Beach and namesake of Chris Castro Day has proposed an ordinance that goes before City Council Thursday demanding that all buildings in Orlando over 50,000 sq feet report their energy usage to the City according to the Orlando Sentinel

The City would in turn share the data publicly.

Castro says the knowledge would help building owners consider making changes, though they wouldn't be required to make any.
