Nobody Cares But... City May Buy 78 Golf Carts

The City of Orlando owns Dubsdread Golf Course (Website). Due to the expiring warranties on the current fleet of 78 golf carts, it is necessary to trade them in for new ones to keep maintenance costs at a minimum. Additionally, the timely replacement of the carts will result in favorable trade-in values on the existing fleet

The Procurement & Contracts Division and Office of Business and Financial Services is asking City Council for Club Car of Augusta, Georgia to replace the existing fleet of golf carts. If approved, the purchase will go through.

This $201,938.52 purchase will consist of the following:
  1. trade in 78 carts
  2. purchase 78 new electric golf carts
  3. purchase a beverage cart
  4. purchase a passenger cart
Service and Warranty repairs will be handled directly through Club Car’s factory branch operation located in Maitland
