The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) has now added Wi-Fi to all of its 300 buses.
There's more to come! LYNX says in the same press release distributed this morning that this is the first of many technology tools the agency plans to roll out in 2017. They're also working on a mobile fare payment system and applications for customers to plan their trip including finding the location of buses.
But back to Wi -Fi. When customers board buses they will need to make sure Wi-Fi has been turned on in their device’s settings, select “LYNX-Bus WIFI”, accept the terms and conditions, and then enjoy free Wi-Fi during the ride. “LYNX-Bus WIFI” will not require a password.
