Three months ago, an Orlando Bike Coalition member rode over to The Thirsty Topher in Ivanhoe Village. He had nowhere to put his bike, so he locked it to a table out back.
After a pint or two, he said to the bartender, "Do you guys want a bike rack?" The bartender turned to the co-owner sitting at the other side of the bar and repeated the question.
The answer was an enthusiastic YES, so the two got together and began discussing the City of Orlando's bike rack program that provides FREE bike racks for businesses.
The next day, Orlando Bike Collectoive called the City, put the two in touch, and after some paperwork and three months of patiently waiting, the racks were in place.
