Pulse Owner Barbara Poma Traveling Country for Precedent Memorial Visits for Pulse Memorial Education

Pulse Owner Barbara Poma has chosen the artist JEFRE to create a process driven by the community and victims families that will end in the creation of a Pulse memorial on the site of the shuttered nightclub. 

Poma and JEFRE are currently traveling the country together, visiting memorial sights in cities that have suffered similar losses to the Pulse tragedy in Orlando. 

Poma was in talks with the City late 2016 to sell the nightclub property to the City so that they could create the memorial until she pulled out unexpectedly.
