The Baldwin Park-adjacent location of Sears has been shuttered for awhile now, emptied of its innards and awaiting certain death. The cleared site will soon house an Orchard Hardware (a sylized baby-sized version of Lowes) and a Floor and Decor store. We stopped by the site today to supply these cheerful pics.
The shell of the Sears auto center building will remain in what appears to be a rare Orlando existence of urban reuse. The long rectangular structure will be turned into a strip mall with a coffee shop/Café at the end facing Colonial.
