$20,000 Will Go To One of These Three Orlando Parks - It's Up to You

One of 3 Orlando parks will win $20,000 in makeovers from National Recreation and Park Association (Website). The one with the most votes wins. The National Recreation and Park Association is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that all Americans have access to parks and recreation for health, conservation and social equity.

The 3 parks in contention:

Al Coith Park (MAP) has one of the oldest, most rundown exercise equipment installations in the city. This project would build a fitness pod, install new fitness equipment, and resurface the pod to make it safe and accessible for all to use. The public can vote for this project now by texting ALCOITH to 35350.*

John H. Jackson Community Center (MAP) is in need of renovated basketball courts, a baseball field, and multi-use field to enhance free recreational use by surrounding area residents. The public can vote for this project now by texting JHJACKSON to 35350.*

Bill Frederick Parkat Turkey Lake (MAP) New outdoor fitness equipment will be installed along an accessible walking/bike trail to improve fitness levels of youth and adults at Orlando's largest, most used park. The public can vote for this project now by texting BILLFRED to 35350.*
