8 months ago Sea World rescued a 20 year old 350 pound loggerhead turtle with injured front flippers and covered in algae in Vero Beach. Her blood work also revealed a significant parasite problem. The team treated the turtle with antibiotics and anti-parasitic medications to clear her system while also addressing her injuries. They released her back into the ocean this morning.
