Blue Jacket Grille Opening in Former Smiling Bison Space

A new restaurant called Blue Jacket Grille (Facebook) will be taking over the space formerly occupied by Smiling Bison at 745 Bennet Road (MAP) just down the street from Audubon Park and Baldwin Park. The restaurant is expected to open in May with no exact date set yet. 

The menu will be American casual consisting of burgers, wings, sandwiches and flatbreads. 20 beers will be on tap and 25-30 craft beers will be in stock. 

The name comes from the blue jacket training ship that was once present at the naval training base. That base closed and is now Baldwin Park.
