Rethinking the City is back Tuesday, April 25th, 6:30 pm - 8 pm at Credo Conduit, 1001 N Orange Ave, Orlando 32801 (MAP). This month's topic is "Green City + Open City = Innovation City" (Facebook). The speakers will be representatives from The Hive (Ideas for Us) + Code for Orlando. Admission is free.
"The Hive (part of Ideas for Us) and Code for Orlando will both talk about the work they are doing to activate networks of change in the City Orlando and beyond. Networks are a critical part of any city whether its reworking local food production via urban farming or reconfiguring how government shares information via open data or simply how our own social networks help mobilize community engagement and innovation."
Rethinking the City (RTC) is put on by CNU Orlando (Facebook | Twitter) and is dedicated to building a dialogue within our community and with changemakers around the world about the forces that shape cities and how we can participate in positive change in our own city through arts, engagement, service, and enterprise.
