Demolition began last weekend on the tiny building on 31,534 sqft of land at 3114 S Orange Ave (MAP) in SODO which will soon be absorbed into the 11.69 acre Southside Shops project with the following features:
- 94,000 sq. ft. of retail and office space
- 300 unit multi-family apartment complex
- Parking lot for the multi-family buildin
- Parking garage for the multi-family building
In 2015 the building was briefly considered as a new location for Jeremiah's Italian Ice. Two doors down, the 47-home Whispering Palms Trailer Park is another unique property among many to be lost to the project.
