The film has a horde of conspiracy theorists, so below are the top ten conspiracy-theory-based things* that will *not* appear in The Shining House haunted house:
- The film is an apology from Stanley Kubrick for faking the moon landing video for the US government so look for empty bottles of Tang and Apollo 11 sweaters.
- Kubrick is angry at the treatment of Native Americans by the US, so look for Native America-inspired rugs & paintings and a can of Calumet baking soda. Calumet means peace pipe.
- The references to the number 42 in the film point to the year the Nazis put their "final solution" into place. Look for any pieces of memorabilia from the Mark Furman collection.
- The Illuminati killed Kubrick because of all the Masonic symbols he featured in the film. So look for triangular chair backs, step-ladders, roofs and mountains.
- Jack Torrence is the devil because he is posed the same as the Tarot card for the devil at the end of the film. Look for a pack of tarot cards.
