The City is proposing adding pole banners up and down Robinson and all through the Milk District to better brand it. No designs were provided in City documents. The Milk District will become the tenth area in the City to allow street pole banners.
ince management of the street pole banners is a joint effort of the non-profit Milk District Main Street, utilizes poles owned by the Orlando Utility Commission, and utilizes portions of the City’s rights of way, it has been necessary to codify the locations where street pole banners are allowed.
This item was recommended for approval by the Municipal Planning Board in September 2017, and was previously approved on first reading by the Council on November 13, 2017.
The City hasn't released any banner designs so we made our own just for fun. Don't hate.
