The City of Orlando Board of Zoning Adjustment recommended approval for Orlando Regional Medical Center's request for sign variances. The request is for 2 high-rise signs on two parapets and a 30 ft vertical sign that reads "Emergency."

The subject property is the Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) and Florida Cancer Center, consisting of multiple conjoined 4-, 5-, 8– and 12-story medical buildings/hospital on a 10.76-acre parcel in the South Orange neighborhood north of W. Kaley St.

In 2014 the building's Sign Master Plan was revised to allow up to 15 wall-mounted signs and a limited number of high-rise signs based on building area and height allowances.
