Randal Park Retail & Townhome Project Moves Forward




City Council approved Ordinance No. 2017-49 amending the Growth Management Plan to change the Future Land Use designation of the Randal Park Commercial and Townhome Project, an 18.37 acre project at 9349 Randal Park Blvd (a portion of a larger 33.75 acre development site), from Community Activity Center to Office-Low Intensity and rezone the subject property from AC-1 to O-1. 

The applicant agreed to 3 additional conditions of approval for the master plan.
  1. The southernmost access drive to the Retail Center from Randal Park Boulevard shall be restricted to right-in, right-out access only. 
  2. The applicant and the City will come up with an appropriate design to improve safety at the middle access drive to the Retail Center. A roundabout is preferred. 
  3. The applicant shall re-stripe the southbound lane of Randal Park Boulevard to provide a left turn lane into the Townhome project’s primary entrance.
