We told you in November the Future Land Use Designation change for the First Church of Christ Scientist property at 650 North New York Ave (MAP) was approved by City of Winter Park City Council. The property will change from Institutional to Medium Density Residential. The church will be demolished and replaced by condos called The View of Winter Park. The project is located on the 7th hole of the Winter Park Country Club golf course.
There are eight separate buildings of two units each with approximately 3,500 SF of air conditioned living space. Each town home is an end unit. Each unit contains a separate front door for each town home, a two car garage with each unit, a private elevator and staircase within the home, a private 1st floor garden patio, 2nd floor living area patio, 3rd floor master bedroom patio.
The church will be demolished.
