Several single family and tandem single family homes are currently under construction on a 1.8 acre parcel in Wadeview Park/SODO between S. Ferncreek Ave and S. Shine Ave by Randall Lazarus and his company Classic Homes, a luxury home builder. One of the listings at 2308 S. Ferncreek Ave is for $550,000.
Lazarus has been a principal in the purchase/renovation and construction of over 500 single family homes in the Central Florida Area through his company, Classic Homes.
Lazarus, also of A&C of Tampa LLC, has submitted a Petition for Voluntary Annexation of that property for the connection to City sewer and the development of those homes.
The subject property is contiguous to the City limits and is reasonably compact. If annexed, the property will not create an enclave.
The subject site currently has the unincorporated Orange County future land use designation of Low Medium Density Residential and is zoned R-2. Lazarus is requesting the City’s future land use designation of Residential Low Intensity (GMP2018-10001) and initial zoning of R-2A/T (ZON2018-10001).
