Voci guest Tara Burns, Photo Credit: Chris DugganVoci Dance is celebrating its 9th season by bringing in two guest artists, Chicago's Cheryl Mann and New York's Tara Burns, to participate in "Voci Dance Presents" Nov.7th & 8th at 8pm and Nov.9th at 2pm at The Garden Theatre. Tickets are $18 for adults and $14 for students and seniors. Located just 14 miles west of downtown Orlando, the theatre is in walking distance of numerous restaurants for patrons to enjoy before and after the production.
Diane Hubbard Burns, dance critic for the Orlando Sentinel, described Voci’s November 07 production as “a seamless, hour-long work notable for its liberated yet disciplined exploration of movement and the quality of its performances, both visual and aural.” In addition to premiering new works by both choreographers, Voci will also bring back past favorites including "Parcht" by nationally recognized choreographer, Ellie Potts Barrett of Florida and choreography by Voci company members.The Garden Theatre is located at 160 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
