Mariah Carey, in 2006, teased Broadway with the idea she'd pen a musical based on her Christmas album "Merry Christmas." Now she's back with rumors of a biographic one:
"Mariah Carey's life story is set to be made into a musical. The "Touch My Body" singer has reportedly attracted attention from a big name in the theatre industry who wants to create a Broadway show based on her.
A source said: "A huge, huge Broadway producer is interested in Mariah's story and it's in discussions. Who would turn down an opportunity like that? Mariah has a fascinating life."
The stage show is set to feature some of the 39-year-old's most highly publicised troubles including her divorce from Sony boss Tommy Mottola in 1997, arguments with record producers and her reported physical and emotional breakdown." (Source, Source)
