I do not have the full story, but here's the story I have right now. Someone was denied the right to breast feed two days ago at Chik Fil A on University and Forsyth, so she organized a "Nurse In" today at noon at the same location.
We got there right when it started and already, the news cameras and interviewers were in the crowd, managers were eyeing everyone, mothers had babies in slings, strollers in high chairs, balloons floated above a few of the chairs ties with ribbon, and the Eat More Chikin cow was making himself available for hugs and photos.
I am assuming the "Nurse In" was for mothers to gather and nurse in public to bring attention to the fact that nursing in public is legal and acceptable. A few participated while we were there.
