Theatre Downtown, a community theatre in Orlando, is tackling "The Wiz" September 4 – October 3, 2009. Steve MacKinnon is directing, with choreography by Jonathan Guise. MacKinnon played piano for A Night With the Girls #2 in 2007 (which is coming back August 31, 2009, at 8pm at Orlando Shakes as a fundraise for the Orlando Improv Festival!)
But back to The Wiz.
Performances are Thursday, Friday at 8 PM. Sunday Matinees are September 13, 20 & 27. Tickets are $18.00/$15.00 Seniors & Students. Reservations suggested: 407-841-0083. 2113 N. Orange Av., Orlando 32804
