The location for the Taco Truck Taste Test #3 on August 22, 2009 at 2pm has been announced: El Taco Loco (Phone: 407-733-9599 | Hours: 8:30am-8:00pm). This tiny plain white mobile kitchen with a tiny screen window and one door in the parking lot of a Chevron gas station serves AWESOME one dollar Mexican tacos with your choice of beef, chicken or pork, topped with fresh shredded cilantro, a lime, and your choice of mild (red) or hot (white) sauce. I tried all three today with Dan Ginader (who is responsible for finding the spot. Thank you Dan!) and we both agreed these tacos are awesome. They are teeny tiny, but they're one dollar and have that authentic Mexican flavor. Three will fill you up, and I suggest trying all three meat types.

What is a Taco Truck Taste Test?
The purpose is to introduce Taco Truck eating to mainstream Orlando and to get out and explore our city more. First you need to know what a taco truck is. Next, you need to know what we do. On the day of a Taco Truck Taste Test, we meet at the designated taco truck, try the food and drink together and expose ourselves to mobile food culture.

History of #TTTT
The very first Taco Truck Taste Test was Tuesday June 30, 2009, 6pm-7pm, at the one near Semoran and Lake Underhill. The idea sprang from my brain when I saw how popular they are in other cities and states, then found out we had them here in Orlando, and wondered why they weren't being embraced by the mainstream.
