Deep Field showcasing "new abstract paintings, drawings and prints" March 6 - March 31, 2010. Opening Reception is March 6, 2010 7pm - 10pm.
"His first solo exhibition in two years, Deep Field will include Rick Jones' recent work in abstract acrylic painting, ink drawings, pencil drawings and silkscreen prints. The walls will be densely packed with over fifty pieces completely in 2009 and 2010, creating a dizzying visual field. In collaboration with Claire Weiss, the alcoves in the large room at Stardust will be wallpapered with patterns created especially for this exhibition, in appreciation for the many years Stardust has given as a haven for the artistic community in the area.
