Project Greenhouse is part of Playgound Festival Sunday April 18, 2010 10am-5pm at Lake Eola Park. Visitors will take a piece of an initial sculptural assemblage (a “Seed Brick”). Each Seed Brick includes map coordinates to be discovered. The participant “plants” a Seed Brick at specific coordinates.
- On a micro scale, the participant replenishes a small spot of FL native plant life
- On a macro scale, the participant completes one point of a living Geoglyph.
Site Plans: Sculptural assemblage composed of stacked “Seed Bricks” with approximate dimensions: 24”x24”x36”. The sculpture will consist of approximately 1800 “Seed Bricks” composed of FL red clay & straw embedded with FL native wildflower seeds. Sculpture to be disassembled by exhibition participants. Entire exhibition to occupy less than 10 sq. ft.
