Bring to Orlando: Projections of zebras running through a city:
Flux Projects presents Lima Lives!
Friday, September 24. 8 - 10 pm
After roaming Decatur, Lima will be at
315 West Ponce de Leon Avenue.
Lima Lives! celebrates the life and spirit of Lima, the zebra that escaped from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus near downtown on February 18, 2010. For nearly one hour, this courageous animal managed to break free of his circus routine and run wild in the streets of Atlanta. Riffing on the excitement of multiple sightings of him that day, Lima Lives! will roam the city at night and project a running zebra back into the landscape.
Nightly projections begin on Friday, September 24 in Decatur and move in a geographically tightening radius toward FLUX on October 1 in Castleberry Hill. Follow his nightly progress on Facebook.
