Orlando Shakes is giving away product: a reading series called "Crossed Dressed Shakespeare"! Tonight, Sunday, September 26, 2010, 7pm-9pm is the first of the three free readings, each one playing with gender or age. Julius Caesar has an all-female cast tonight, directed by Aradhana Tiwari of Play The Moment. She most recently put together the Facebook and the Arts panel on which our Editor spoke.
The Julius Caesar cast includes Trenell Mooring, Ame Livingston, Jennifer Christa Palmer, Elizabeth Judith, Catherine Stork, Pascha Weaver, Megan Moroney, Kelli Sleigh, Allison DeCaro, Brooke Haney, Laura Swindoll, Robin Olson, Paula Rossman, April Montgomery, Suzanne Sacks and Kristin Shirila. The Stage managers are all-female too: Hannah Hudson and Anna Katherine Moore.

Age reversed cast. The lovers will be 45 years old and up, and the parents will be 40 and below. See Shakespeare's love story through a pair of older eyes, with their children desperately trying to control them.
