Dog Powered Robot, a human-sized robot made from cardboard and sporting a dog nested within it's chest, will be the star of an original live theatrical show created by local creative Evan Miga called "Dog Powered Robot and the History of the Future" for the 2011 Orlando Fringe Festival.
You may remember Dog Powered Robot from Orlando Fringe 2010, when he debuted and was an instant celebrity. Miga also created the giant orange robot for the 2010 All Hallows Fringe fundraiser.
Auditions
Miga is holding auditions for roles in this new show on Friday, February 4 (7-9pm) and Sunday, February 6 (12-2pm) at R3M1X3D (113 East Pine Street, Orlando, FL 32801). Roles being cast: (1) lead villain, (2) a large ensemble of performers to play "tiny cute droids to medium sized cyborgs to massive destructive robots." Auditioners should prepare a short comedic monologue and be prepared to read a scene provided. Unpaid.
