The Sketchbook Project is a national tour that winds down in Orlando Friday, July 29 - 31, 2011 12pm-5pm at Full Sail University (3300 University Boulevard Winter Park, FL 32792). Thousands of sketchbooks that have been exhibited at galleries and museums across the country will be shown here, and will then enter into the permanent collection of The Brooklyn Art Library, where they will be cataloged and available for the public to view. The project mailed blank sketchbooks t 28839 artists in 94 countries. Just under 10,000 books were returned completed to us — all of which will be on display. A rare sketchbook from the blogger Analog Artist Digital World is among the items that traveled along with this national tour.
