Indie hip-hop band Gym Class Heroes (Myspace Facebook Twitter) performed on Friday, October 14 at House of Blues. The show was the third stop in the band’s North American tour co-headlining with The Dirty Heads. Gym Class Heroes comprises of lead vocalist Travie McCoy, guitarist Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo, bassist Eric Roberts and drummer Matt McGinley.

The band was the last act of the night and highly anticipated, obvious by the hoots, hollers and applause from the audience when the band made their entrance on the stage. The band played a lot of their hit songs such as “Peace Sign/Index Down”, “Cookie Jar”, “Cupids Chokehold”, “Clothes Off”, “Billionaire” and “Stereo Hearts”.

Gym Class Heroes put on a fun and lively show and captured the attention of the audience. Both the band and the audience clearly enjoyed themselves during the hour-long set. Travie is a great performer and enthusiastically interacted with the crowd between songs.

The band’s forthcoming album is The Papercut Chronicles II, releasing on November 15. You can check out the album’s track list here.
