Growing up in the tri-state area, my day trips to Manhattan showed me something Orlando doesn't seem to be in abundance of: businesses doing *one* thing and doing it well. A hard candy shop that makes hard candy. A bucher that sells meat. A deli for your cheese. A steakhouse for steak. The steamed clam place for steamed clams. On a recent holiday trip home to New York City, I ate at The Dumpling Man, a place that makes dumplings. Thats it. What spot(s) in Orlando has great dumplings? This post was inspired by New York Magazine.
