CREATIVE CAPITOL AND THE WARHOL FOUNDATION: ARTS WRITERS GRANT PROGRAM
Deadline: June 6, 2012. The Creative Capitol and Warhol Foundation have teamed up to offer grants to individual writers ranging from $3,000–$50,000. The Arts Writers Grants program is geared toward encouraging meaningful and thorough writing about contemporary art that engages a broader audience. The mission of this program is to strengthen the field of contemporary art and foster arts writing as a critical role in engaging people with art.

NATIVE ARTS AND CULTURE FOUNDATION (NACF) 2013 ARTIST FELLOWSHIPS
Deadline: June 21, 2012. The Native Arts and Culture Foundation (NACF) is accepting applications for its second annual Artist Fellowship Program. Awards of $20,000 will be given in several disciplines. The program is open to Native artists defined as American Indian from federally recognized U.S. tribes, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian. A panel review of applications will take place in September, with the announcement of fellows taking place in November.

THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA COLLEGE OF JOURNALISM CALL FOR PUBLIC ART
Deadline: June 6, 2012. The University of Florida, Art in State Buildings Program is looking for artists to come up with multiple design proposals for their new expansion of UF-342 Weimer Hall. Strong consideration will be given to mediums in graphic design (vinyl) and/or murals.

SAN JOSE PUBLIC ART PROGRAM'S ART + TECHNOLOGY ARTISTS ROSTER
Deadline: June 11, 2012. The San Jose Public Art Program shall seek industry partnerships to support the creation of artworks with a budget ranging from $15,000 to $150,000 for the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport. Commissioning schedule will be dependent on these negotiations and scheduled based on opportunities.

SCULPTURE COMPETITION IN DOWNTOWN URBANA
 Deadline: June 15, 2012. The City of Urbana Public Arts Commission and the Public Art League of Champaign-Urbana (PAL) in Illinois are seeking artists to submit sculptures that reflect a tree theme. This competition will celebrate Urbana’s designation as a Tree City USA. Selected artists will receive $1,500 from the Urbana Public Arts Commission. All professional artists over the age of 18 are welcome to apply.
