Booze Badger Brews Micro-Brew Beer Company ???

Someone has been tearing up Mills50 district and the neighborhood of Eola Heights with the tag "Booze Badger." We wrote about it, WKMG wrote about it, and now it got picked up by Yahoo News via local Fox 35 News (thanks for featuring a shot of our site BTW).

Well now someone has bought the domain BoozeBadger.com and is launching... a set of micro-brewed beers. Check out Booze Badger Brews. What the hell is going on? Here's our theory. Someone is taking the name created by a tagger for themselves, without the permission of the tagger, and jumping on it before anyone else can and creating a line of microbrew beer. We don't think Booze Badger is the person behind this site, the beer or the idea. Just a hunch. No proof here. 


So, using our theory, why would someone do this? Does this brand not realize that they are now associated with something that has angered an entire cadre of small local businesses in the Mills50 district and a lot of homeowners in the Eola Heights neighborhood? Why would a brand want to be associated with an angry mob of businesses and homeowners? And what bar would want to be associated with a brand like that?
