(We're aware Chik-Fil-A has some controversial policies. This story is about corporations co-opting food trucks, so please hold your anti-Chik-Fil-A comments.)
We told you that the Chick-fil-A food truck would be launching on April 9, 2012 in Washington, D.C. Well, they're launching *again* on Monday, July 9. We reached out to the PR company that handles Chik-fil-A to ask if the food truck would come through Orlando.
"Currently, no plans are set for the food truck to come to Orlando"
Customers in Washington can follow the food truck on Twitter at @chickfilamobile. The truck will serve lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 pm. All menu items are fresh and made-to-order. For $8, customers in Washington can select one entrée (the Chick-fil-A Original Chicken Sandwich or 8-count Chicken Nuggets) and two sides (Cole Slaw, Side Salad, Fruit Cup, Potato Chips or Fudge Brownie). The menu items are also available for purchase à la carte. Photo Credit
