AMERICA'S MEDIA MAKERS
Deadline: August 15, 2012. America’s Media Makers grants seeks artists who are interested in interactive digital media and film/television/radio projects. The proposed projects may take the form of museum exhibitions, book/film discussion programs, or engage audiences in new ways. There are two different categories: A development grant enables media producers to collaborate with scholars to develop humanities content and to prepare programs for production. Production grants support the production and distribution of digital projects, films, television programs, radio programs, and related programs that promise to engage the public.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: ST. ELMO PUBLIC ART PROJECT, CHATTANOOGA, TN
Deadline: July 30, 2012. Public Art Chattanooga and St. Elmo Public Art Committee are looking for artist or artist teams to install permanent public artwork in the St. Elmo community of Chattanooga, TN. This project is open to artists residing in the Southeastern United States (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia). The budget for this project is $20,000 which includes the design, fabrication, engineering, installation, and travel.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH CENTENNIAL ART PROJECT
Deadline: August 3, 2012. The City of Manhattan Beach is looking for a professional artist or group of artists to create a significant piece of public art to recognize the city’s first 100 years. The budget available is up to $130,000, which includes all costs, but is not limited to design, travel, accommodations, project materials, fabrication, installation of art work, and documentation of the work.

CALL FOR WRITERS: MEMOIR JOURNAL
Deadline: August 16, 2012. Memoir Journal is looking for writers for its biannual publications. The categories for submission are Memoir in Prose or Poetry, Graphic Memoir, and Narrative Photography. Winners receive cash prizes plus publication of their Memoir Journal. There is no entry fee.

PUBLIC ART ARCHIVE-WESTERN STATE ARTS FEDERATION (WESTAF)
Deadline: December 1, 2012. Public Art Archive is an online database of public art in the United States, powered by the Western State Arts Federation (WESTAF). To qualify for inclusion, you must be a professional artist who has completed and installed public artwork or serve as an administrator of an established public art program in any of the 50 United States or Canada.
