The annual Canstruction Orlando art display will happen this upcoming week at Fashion Square Mall. The competition that is actually a food drive, the local donations go to Second Harvest Food Bank, pairs local teams with architects who together design large displays with the cans. The exhibit will be on display for one week at which time they will be dismanteld and donated. Canstruction exhibits are now a popular food drive program across the global with annual displays in since 1992, contributed over 17.5 million pounds of food to community food bank.
Fashion Square Mall is located at 3201 East Colonial Drive in Orlando. The mall is home to one of the largest Food Truck Bazaars in Central Florida which last week raised over $450 for A New Hope for Kids. The next Food Truck Bazaar is November 11th and the Happy Hour proceeds going to Second Harvest as well.
