November 9th through the 11th will be the 37th Festival of the Masters presented by Michaels® at Downtown Disney. The event runs from 10AM till 5:30PM Friday and Saturday; 10AM-5PM Sunday. The always popular highly prestigious art festival features over 150 artists along with hands-on activities, everything from face painting to dominoes. One of the things that makes this one of the more enjoyable art festivals around are the number of different booths such as Michaels Make It Take It – Mickey Ear Wood Frames where you can design and take home your very own Mickey Ear Wood Frame with a personalized artistic touch. These booth help make the event an enjoyable interactive day of art. Live music is also planned throughout the event.
House of Blues is sponsoring a Folk Art section of the festival while on the Marketplace side will feature up and coming artist (all under 30 yrs old) and a large section of sidewalk devoted to chalk artists. Art of Disney will feature artist appearances throughout the event.
This is one of the premier events of the year for Downtown Disney and the perfect time to go enjoy this traditionally more tourist focused shopping and entertainment complex.
