Celebrate Fall by joining the Osceola County Historical Society (OCHS) at the Grand Opening of the Osceola County Welcome Center and History Museum in conjunction with the 21st Annual Pioneer Day.
Celebrate Fall by joining the Osceola County Historical Society (OCHS) at the Grand Opening of the Osceola County Welcome Center and History Museum in conjunction with the 21st Annual Pioneer Day.
Festivities at the Grand Opening include self guided tours of the new History Museum (all day), gator wrestling (12:15pm), Kid’s fishing on the creek with Terry Seagraves (11am-3pm), food trucks, gator photos and meet one of the original Highwaymen, Al Black (all day).
Then hop onto the free shuttle over to the Pioneer Village where you can dance or just sit back, relax and enjoy sounds of the mini folk festival (Jackson Creek 10:00, Jerry Mincey 10: 45, Frank Thomas 11:30, Jackson Creek 12:15, Jerry Mincey 1:00, Frank Thomas 1:45, Ben DeHart 2:30), 1800’s re-enactors, some delicious BBQ, or make a craft with the kids.
