The chill in the air means it's time for the local water parks and individual attractions to begin their seasonal refurbishments and closures. The water park at Legoland has already closed for the rest of the season, not to be heard from again until Spring (March 9th), and in an odd not typical to Florida move Legoland itself has shifted into a limited schedule, being closed every Tuesday and Thursday through the middle of December and then again from beginning of January through March 9th.
Typhoon Lagoon has also closed for the rest of the year, it will reopen on January 6th at which time Blizzard Beach will close until May 16th for it's refurbishment. Both Diseny water parks will be closed today though due the cold weather that is forecast.
Aquatica and Wet-N-Wild both stay open, with heated pools, but will close each day at 5PM.
Many of the attractions at the area theme parks also use this slower season to do the seasonal refurbishment on the rides. On the 16th we mentioned Splash Mountain's now extended refurbishment this winter but many of the other rides and resort amenities also go down for short periods during this time. Check out the entire seasonal closure list for Walt Disney World here. Universal's two parks will have shortened hours during the winter months, sometimes closing as early as 6PM but at this time no major closures have been announced. Don't forget though that this Thursday is Universal's major announcement, of course the whole thing will be covered on here soon thereafter. No closures are expected as a part of this announcement but Universal is attempting to keep the whole thing under wraps so we won't officially know till Thursday all of what they plan to cover in this press conference.
Just remember that while most of the Orlando parks don't close fully in winter some attractions and smaller parks do.
