We've already seen two film festivals this month but if you're still in the mood for more or if you're just a fan of horror then make sure to check out the Freak Show Horror Film Festival that starts today and runs through Sunday. Named one of the 20 Coolest Film Festivals by MovieMaker Magazine, the only other Florida mention is Central Florida's own Florida Film Festival, the Freak Show Horror Film Festival celebrates independent horror filmmakers. Now in it's seventh year the festival has become one of the largest events for horror fans and features a number of regional and national premiers along with four world premiers this year.
The FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival is part of Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend which is the largest Horror Convention in the State of Florida featuring Celebrity Guests, Huge Vendor Room, Tattoo Room, Bands, and much more. Your paid admission to Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend includes your admission to the FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival. The event always features a huge selection of celebrity guest which this year include Nightmare of Elm Street's Robert England along with the Cast of Nightmare on Elm Street 4, John Kassir from Tales from the Crypt, Alex Vincent from Child's Play, Irone Singleton from The Walking Dead, Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango from Ghost Hunters along with Scott Tepperman and Paul Bradford from Ghost Hunters International, Patrick Muldoon from Starship Troopers and Stigmata, and the always popular author R.L.Stine, along with a ton more.
The event runs from today through the weekend at the Orlando Hilton beside the Orange County Convention Center. A number of different ticketing options are available on here.
