Italio Modern Italian Kitchen Winter Park Replaces Burned Down China Plaza Buffet

Italio Modern Italian Kitchen, a fast casual Italian based out of Boca Raton, is taking the spot of the popular-but-burned-down China Plaza Buffet along Orlando Ave (Hwy 17/92) in Winter Park in 2013.

Italio is like Chipotle, but with noodles and marinara sauce. You choose your choice of wrap, bowl or salad, and it all comes with noodles.

The restaurant's interior has a nice vibe. Hopefully the marble tables at the original location make their way to the new one in Winter Park. There's no free wi-fi. Boo.

Italio's has huge expansion plans with at least seven new stores planned, two planned for Central Florida (Winter Park and Orlando).

The restaurant chain is affiliated with Brandon Cohen who also works with Abrika Resturants, LLC, also based out of South Florida. With this type of expansion and the great reviews on Facebook, it looks like this will be a yummy addition to Central Florida's fast casual dining options.
