Artist Peter Anton's piece called Sugar & Gomorrah was a highlight to us, as we come from the city most known for rides, Orlando. Anton is known for his oversized candy. For Art Miami's CONTEXT show, he took guests on an indulgence meets judgment themed carnival ride that we'd like to see brought to Orlando soon.
The outside of the ride is covered in images of sex and dessert. Inside, his signature oversized sweets shared the stage with scantly clad men and women. In one scene, a male/female couple, moving like robots, give each other a kiss each time a ride vehicle passes. In the second scene, a man and a woman dance in a room covered in large candy bits. Throughout the ride, Lesley Gore's song "Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows" played, which added to the creep factor.
