All-Glass Exhibit is Amazing at Orlando Museum of Art

The Studio Glass Movement was initiated in 1962 by Harvey K. Littleton and Dominick Labino, who developed innovative practices that allowed individual artists to create one of a kind works in a studio setting.  The Orlando Museum of Art (2416 North Mills Ave., Orlando, Florida) opened a 7,000 square foot exhibit to celebrate a milestone for the movement called "Contemporary Glass Sculpture: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Studio Glass" on December 12, 2012. This exhibition, currently on display, features more than 60 exemplary glass sculptures by renowned masters of the Studio Glass Movement.
