Pop Up Dinner | Bruno's Big Bites Creator Resurfaces for One-Night-Only Late Night Chinese Dinner

It's not even the half-way mark of 2013, and already pop up dinners and pop up restaurants have made a big splash in Orlando:
  • Ongoing: The underground supper club called Taste of Happiness
  • January 19: Outstanding in the Field came to town and put on a pop up dinner at Lake Meadow Naturals.
  • January 26: TheDailyCity.com created a pop up dinner series called Orlando ClanesDine. The first one featured Chef Bryce Bulluff and happened inside TheDailyCity.com Cardboard Art Festival
  • March 2: Scott Joseph has a pop up dinner series. His most recent one took place at Quantum Leap Winery.
  • March 19-23: Chef Tony Adams is doing a pop up restaurant called Kennebec inside Urban ReThink.
Big Bruno's Bites, the food cart that used to appear at the former location of Redlight Redlight, was recently sold by owner, Bruno Zacchini. On March 14, 2013, he made the announcement on his Facebook page. Sad face. He also alerted fans to be on the look out for new activities he's be getting into. And here's the first one!

Bruno Zacchini on is doing a pop-up dinner and giving it the name Lo-Pan's Late Night.

It will take place Saturday March 30, 2013, 9pm-2am, at Fairbanks Food Market, 2240 W. Fairbanks Ave, Winter Park, Florida 32789.

The idea is to create a late night Chinese restaurant feel. Says Bruno, "I have always wanted a place that served great Chinese food after I have been out drinking or just after 10pm and since (any business owner in) Orlando never opened one I will!"

Bruno will use responsibly sourced ingredients in his menu. The dishes will be Bruno's take on Chinese cuisine "with room for artistic interpretation."

Tickets will be sold through Open Table. Sales have not begun as of today.
