UK pop artist Olly Murs (Twitter | Facebook) played at House of Blues last Tuesday night with opening act Before You Exit, a pop band from Orlando. Olly was the runner-up in the sixth series of The X Factor in the UK.

Before You Exit opened the concert with a 30-minute set and performed fun pop songs including a cover of “Mmm Bop” by Hanson.

After a 30 minute break, Olly Murs hit the stage, wearing a white long-sleeved shirt with a black v -neck vest and a black trilby hat. Olly opened his set with “Army of Two”, “Dance With Me Tonight” and “Personal”. He performed a few songs from his previous two albums. Olly performed covers of “Hot in Here” by Nelly and “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder. Olly performed “Superstition” when he auditioned for the X-Factor.

Olly performed with great vocals, fun energy and connected well with the audience. After Olly told the audience his birthday was coming up, the audience sang him “Happy Birthday”. Olly thanked the audience for their support and talked about his experience touring in America.

The atmosphere at House of Blues was fun and upbeat and the audience danced and sang throughout Olly’s show. After over an hour of performing, Olly ended the show with upbeat songs “My Heart Skips A Beat” and "Troublemaker”.

Catch Olly Murs and Before You Exit on tour until May 15.
