After 20 years in business, Christner's has dropped the "Del Frisco" and updated their menu and interior. Now known as Christner’s Prime Steak & Lobster, the newly named, family-owned and operated restaurant celebrated its 20th anniversary at the beginning of June.
The ‘evening soiree’ was dubbed a
Celebration of “C” and featured a number of “C” -themed experiences such as Cupcakes
& Couture, Cars, Cigars and Cognac and Craft Beers, Cheese and Canvas
curated by participating partners. Live magicians and in-house pianists
entertained more than 600 guests as David Christner, son of original owner Russ
Christner, along with his wife Alice and his mother Carole, mingled amongst the
crowd. The three posed in front of a
framed tribute to Russ, the man who brought the successful restaurant to
Florida.
The event
raised over $7,000 for the Florida Hospital Diabetes Institute.
The restaurant is open for dinner, Monday through Thursday from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 11:00 p.m.
