Donut Bacon Sandwich from Dunkin Donuts for National Donut Day
Dunkin Donuts is scheduled to release a donut bacon sandwich June 7, 2013. Which is, not-so-coincidently, National Donut Day. It will become part of the permanent menu. The sandwich, two donuts with fried bacon and eggs in the middle, was tested in April in select Massachusetts stores.
The funny thing is, the sandwich clocks in at 30 calories lighter than the 390 calorie turkey-sausage sandwich, which is marketed as a healthy alternative.
